Cultural & Art Programs
The promotion of Hispanic-Latino culture has been an embedded part of the Foundation’s work since its inception in 1990. Today, HAF supports local organizations that advance the education and betterment of Hispanic youth and encourage the broader arts community.
Cinco de Mayo
On May 5, 2026, the Hispanic American Foundation, in partnership with El Molino Tacos and New Story Brewing, hosted a Cinco de Mayo Celebration featuring a full day of cultural programming. Over 160 attendees enjoyed performances by folkloric dancers from Pakilistli Academia and live music from Bossa, a local Latin band. Local vendors, including Hilo De Amor, rounded out the celebration. As part of the event, New Story Brewing graciously donated $1 to the Hispanic American Foundation for every cerveza sold on Cinco de Mayo, supporting the Foundation's mission in the community.

Cubana Night
The Hispanic American Foundation hosted Cubana Night, an evening dedicated to the art of fine living. Guests savored handpicked premium cigars paired with expertly curated whiskeys, including top shelf and rare varieties, while a guided tasting explored the flavors and aromas of each pairing. The evening also featured gourmet appetizers, live music, and an elegant open air atmosphere for conversation and connection. Isabel Flores of Channel 2 served as master of ceremonies, and the event drew support from local elected officials including Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols and Tulsa County Commissioner Stan Salle.
Noche de Gala
Since 1990, the Hispanic American Foundation of Tulsa has hosted an annual Noche de Gala, the Foundation’s only fundraising event. The event's fundraising proceeds are critical to the Foundation to scholarship program. Each year, the event pays tribute to the Hispanic heritage and culture of a different country. The event features the country’s food, music, and dancing, along with collectible art as part of the silent and live auctions. In 2024, the Noche de Gala had it's largest showing in recent history with over 150 attendees!
